Taking snapshots
Taking snapshots of a video image is simple and straightforward. First, make sure that P2V Software is
running. Then choose the most convenient way to take a snapshot:
• Press the Snapshot key on Point 2 View, or
• Click the Snapshot button in P2V Software, or
• Press the Enter (Windows) or Return (Mac) key
When you take a snapshot:
• A snapshot sound is generated.
• The video image in Camera mode freezes for a moment, showing the Instant Preview of your snapshot.
Navigating photos in Review mode
You can review your snapshots in P2V Software’s Review mode.
1. Click the Review mode tab to switch to Review mode. The most recently taken photo is displayed in the
main screen with file information below the photo.
2. Recent photos are shown at the bottom. You can move from photo to photo by using the Left / Right
key or clicking the Left / Right icon. You can also use the scroll bar at the bottom to scroll through your
photo library.
Disabling the “snapshot” sound (optional)
Windows:
1. Click the Settings icon in the menu bar
2. Click the General tab
3. In the Sound Effect on box, uncheck Snapshot
Mac:
1. Click
P2V > Preferences...
menu
2. Click the General tab
3. In the Sound Effect on box, uncheck Snapshot
TIP:
Instant Preview provides a quick glance at your snapshot, so you can see whether or not you’ve captured
the desired photo without going to Review mode
